My Origin Story:

I wanted to be a video editor

In 2011, I embarked on my educational journey at a community college with the intention of pursuing a major in video production. I made the mistake of pursuing a computer science major with the expectation that it would include video editing courses. To my surprise, I soon realized that the computer science major primarily focused on coding, and I encountered challenges in keeping up with the coursework. So much so that I ended up on academic probation for a short while. After seeking guidance from a school counselor, I made the decision to transition into the computer graphics program, which offered a few video editing classes.

My experience in the computer graphics major was truly rewarding. I acquired a diverse skill set that encompassed photo manipulation, logo design, animation, video editing, and print design. In 2015, I successfully graduated with an associate's degree in this field. Subsequently, I transferred my academic credits to the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where I pursued a major in their print-focused design program. Here, I further honed my expertise in print design, motion design, video editing, and branding. My journey culminated in 2018 with the completion of my bachelor's degree.

Today, I am a dedicated graphic designer, leveraging my comprehensive skill set to make inroads into the dynamic world of the entertainment industry.
